Amy Godolphin

Hello! I am Amy, a freelance dance instructor from England, UK and currently living in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA! 

I started dancing at the age of 3 years old and fell in love with it instantly! At 16 I moved to London to train full-time professionally at the Central School of Ballet, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Dance and performance.

After graduating I accepted my first job at the Vienna Festival Ballet and performed in many of the classics including “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “Coppelia”.

Unfortunately, my Ballet career was quickly cut short by a lower back disc injury. This meant I had to pivot quickly to make ends meet. After months of physiotherapy and a focus on Pilates to build my strength, I needed to get back into performing. I auditioned for everything and anything, and eventually took a job with Entertainment at Disneyland Paris.

I fell in love with dancing and entertainment all over again, and grew my skills to make me more marketable as an all round performer. I was lucky enough to pass the audition for Tokyo Disney Resort, and later on in my career Hong Kong Disneyland.

Overall, I spent 9 years globally with the Walt Disney Company before moving to the USA.
